Sheridan Maine is recruiting a Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst to support a growing data and reporting function within a large, multi-site organisation. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to design, build, and maintain reporting solutions, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong reporting and BI fundamentals who is looking to develop their technical capability and influence how data is used across an organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the movement of data from multiple source systems into central reporting environments, assisting with data integration and transformation activities.
  • Build and maintain a suite of dashboards and reports that deliver meaningful insights to business users.
  • Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, consistent, and trusted by validating data and resolving discrepancies.
  • Use Power BI and Excel to deliver both scheduled and ad-hoc reporting in a clear, user-focused format.
  • Act as a first point of contact for reporting queries, investigating and resolving data or report issues.
  • Produce and maintain clear documentation covering reports, dashboards, and data processes.
  • Work collaboratively with analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve data quality over time.
  • Provide support across the wider reporting team during busy periods or project work as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience creating reports or dashboards using data visualisation tools.
  • Advanced Excel capability, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working with data from multiple systems or sources.
  • Confident communicator, able to explain data and insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in learning and improving reporting processes.
