Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established organisation based in Watford, Hertfordshire, who are seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join a supportive environment and provide valuable support during a busy period. This is a hybrid role, with three days per week required in the office.
Your key responsibilities as the Accounts Payable Clerk:
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Performing supplier statement reconciliations
- Resolving invoice queries and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will have:
- Previous experience working within an Accounts Payable or purchase ledger role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- The ability to work accurately to deadlines
