Sheridan Maine is partnering with a well-established business in Halesowen to recruit a Finance Assistant for a temporary position with the potential to become permanent. Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant include:
- Processing invoices and assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Performing bank reconciliations and supporting financial reporting.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
- Communicating with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team.
- Maintaining accurate up-to-date records of all financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Processing weekly timesheets.
The successful Finance Assistant will require:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role or currently studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
