If so, this could be a great role for you. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be supporting the Financial Director to drive the continued profitability and success of the business. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative specialist manufacturer and contribute to their growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Month End Close: Oversee the month end to ensure smooth and timely financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Produce management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage the annual budget process and contribute to group reporting, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Analysis: Dive into financial data, analysing overheads, labour recovery rates, and WIP/manufacturing overheads, delivering high-quality reports and commentary.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and controls.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure compliance with financial procedures, maintaining integrity and transparency in all financial activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and experience with data management and analysis.
- Problem-Solver: Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Team Player: Able to collaborate with stakeholders but also comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
- Deadline-Driven: Ability to meet tight deadlines and produce high-quality work under pressure.
The role is office based 5 days a week in Gosport and the company offers an attractive benefits package including 25 days holiday. You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
