Sheridan Maine are pleased to be working with a leading organisation based in Hampshire who are recruiting for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. The role will provide vital support to the Financial Controller, ensuring timely and accurate management accounts and the facilitation of financial budgets and forecasting.The client is seeking a qualified AAT or part qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA candidate who has a background in financial analysis and providing commercial finance support to stakeholders across a range of business areas.Primary duties of the Management Accountant will include: Production of monthly management accounts Profit and Loss review and analysis Assisting the budget and forecasting process Liaising with internal and external auditors Produce and develop financial analysis and reporting Liaise with department heads to discuss financial performance Provide ongoing mentoring support to junior team members This fantastic role requires an individual with prior management accounts experience as well as good analytical and IT skills. Intermediate/ advanced Excel would be desirable and the successful candidate will have the capability to meet deadlines and enjoy working as part of a friendly and motivated team.
