Sheridan Maine is partnering with a leading organisation based in Bournemouth to recruit a commercially focused Financial Analyst (FP&A). This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ICAEW) looking to step into a high-impact FP&A / Commercial Finance role where finance truly partners with the business. This is far more than a reporting role. You will sit at the heart of decision-making, working closely with senior stakeholders to turn financial data into meaningful insight and influence strategy.
The Role – FP&A Analyst
As a key member of the FP&A team, you will support the delivery of high-quality financial planning, analysis, and performance insight across the business. Reporting into the FP&A Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the consolidated review of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning (FP&A) across the Group.
- Delivering monthly management reporting, analysing group spend with clear commentary to support senior management decision-making.
- Producing performance reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis to inform strategic direction at Exec and Board level.
- Providing ad hoc financial analysis on budgets, forecasts, and commercial initiatives.
- Assisting in the preparation of the Group annual budget and rolling forecasts.
- Developing financial models to support investment decisions and evaluate new development opportunities.
