Sheridan Maine are proud to be working with a Berkshire based well-established business to recruit a Financial Accountant. This role is varied in content and works closely with the Financial Controller covering a range of internal and external reporting duties. This is a newly created role and offers a great career opportunity for a technically focused qualified financial accountant.

Key responsibilities of this pivotal role will include:

  • Responsible for the group consolidation process
  • Management of monthly intercompany accounting and group reconciliations
  • Creating financial reports and providing analysis to key stakeholders
  • Assisting with the external audit process
  • Day to day support and mentoring of a small team
  • Management of compliance and reporting

The ideal candidate for this position will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and possess strong technical skills ideally with international accounting experience. It would also be advantageous to possess previous group and consolidation knowledge.

This role offers a competitive salary, bonus and hybrid working. You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
