Job Description
Sheridan Maine are currently supporting an established business in Hampshire who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their central accounts department on a permanent basis.Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Creating accurate financial reports and presenting to senior colleagues
- Business partnering with external stakeholders
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Leadership of a small team of assistants
- Suggesting and implementing process improvements
The successful Finance Manager should possess the following skills and experience:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or qualified by experience with relevant experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, including management experience
- Ability to analyse, interpret and present information clearly and concisely
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to establish and build relationships across the business
- Highly organised and have impeccable attention to detail
