Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a respected and well-established organisation based in Loughton to recruit a Finance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and analytically strong finance professional to join a collaborative team and lead across a broad range of finance activities—with a particular focus on financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:
- Preparation of management reporting and insightful commentary for stakeholders.
- Month-end processes including journals, P&L and Balance Sheet review.
- Revenue tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Ownership of budgeting and rolling forecasting processes.
- Insurance renewals and submissions.
- Year-end activities including audit preparation and liaison.
- Support with working capital management and banking relationships.
- Approve/sign off invoices and payments as needed.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial systems and processes.
The successful Finance Manager:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Strong technical and commercial finance knowledge.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills are essential.
- Desirable: Experience with stock control and forecasting.
