As the Finance Assistant Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a dedicated team of finance assistants, ensuring financial processes are followed accurately and deadlines are met. You will play a key part in supporting project-related financial activities, reporting, and month-end responsibilities.
Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant Team Leader will include:
- Manage the daily workload and performance of a team of Finance Assistants.
- Oversee and produce accurate invoicing for a range of ongoing projects.
- Maintain and perform housekeeping tasks within the project planning and finance systems.
- Prepare month-end accruals and prepayments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Take ownership of cost reports for various disciplines within the organisation.
- Provide up-to-date Work In Progress (WIP) balances to Project Directors.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
- Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties and projects as required.
