Job Description
- Manage a portfolio of audit assignments, ensuring compliance with audit standards and deadlines.
- Lead planning meetings, set audit scopes and budgets, and coordinate with clients throughout the process.
- Supervise and review the work of audit seniors and trainees.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing technical insight and adding value.
- Identify areas for improvement in internal processes and contribute to the firm’s wider growth strategy.
- Support business development initiatives, including networking and proposal preparation.
What We’re Looking For:
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in an audit-focused role within a UK practice (ideally 2 years+).
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and financial reporting standards.
- Confident communicator with excellent client relationship skills.
- Effective team leader with the ability to motivate and develop junior staff.
- Comfortable using audit and accounting software (e.g. CaseWare, CCH, etc.)
