Sheridan Maine is working in partnership with a respected and growing accountancy practice in Birmingham to recruit an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to gain broad client exposure, develop their technical skills, and progress within a supportive and professional firm.
The Role:
As an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior, you’ll be involved in a mix of audit and accounts preparation (more accounts) work for a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and charities.
Your responsibilities as the Audit & Accounts Semi Senior will include:
- Assist with the planning and execution of audits.
- Prepare statutory accounts in compliance with UK GAAP and FRS102.
- Support clients with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts as required.
- Liaise with clients directly to gather information and ensure timely delivery of work.
- Work closely with seniors, managers, and partners to develop your knowledge and technical ability.
- Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate.
