Job Description
- Plan and carry out statutory audits of corporate clients, on-site and in the office.
- Lead larger and more complex assignments, ensuring audit procedures are followed.
- Supervise and support junior team members, fostering development and high-quality work.
- Support the Manager and Partner group on ad hoc projects and assignments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
- Produce work for review by Managers and Partners, highlighting technical or client-specific issues and proposing solutions.
- Manage a small portfolio of clients, where required.
To be considered for the role of Assistant Audit Manager:
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified with relevant experience.
- Statutory audit experience in a professional practice, with group audits and consolidated accounts a plus.
- Highly organised, able to manage your own workload efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build client relationships quickly.
- Experienced with automated audit software and digital accounts/tax systems.
