Overview
Sheridan Maine is pleased to be partnering with a respected and long-standing organisation in Berkshire to recruit a Treasury Controller. This is a key appointment within the finance team, where you’ll take the lead in treasury accounting and reporting while driving best practice across the function.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small team managing and reporting on treasury transactions.
- Ensure accurate accounting of debt, intercompany loans, and other treasury-related activity within the Treasury Management System.
- Prepare and review cash flow, debt, and interest forecasts, providing clear analysis and explanations for variances.
- Oversee the production of treasury-related financial statements in line with accounting standards.
- Take ownership of the Group Treasury annual budget and rolling forecasts, ensuring timely monthly reporting.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors, providing required documentation and support.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and treasury accounting.
- Previous experience working within a larger or group environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain complex financial information.
- Confident communicator, able to work collaboratively with auditors and other finance teams.
