Our client, an established London-based accountancy practice, is seeking a Personal Tax Manager to join their team. This is a hands-on role where you will manage a portfolio of clients, provide proactive personal tax advice, and work closely with senior management and junior team members to deliver high-quality service.
Your responsibilities as the Personal Tax Manager will include:
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients end-to-end, including self-assessment, capital gains, and tax planning.
- Prepare and review tax returns, computations, and schedules.
- Provide clear, practical advice to clients, building strong, trusted relationships.
- Support, mentor, and guide junior team members.
- Liaise with HMRC and other stakeholders on client matters.
Skills & Experience:
- ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualified.
- Proven experience in a personal tax role within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation.
- Experience managing client relationships and supervising junior staff.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
