Sheridan Maine are delighted to be working with a well‑established and growing accountancy practice based in Slough who are seeking an experienced Partner to join their senior leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded professional looking to play a key role in the continued growth and strategic direction of a respected practice with a strong client base across a range of sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, driving business growth, mentoring teams, and contributing to the overall success of the practice.

Key responsibilities as the Partner:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high‑level accounting, tax, and business advisory services
  • Build and maintain strong long‑term client relationships
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to support the growth of the practice
  • Lead, mentor, and develop members of the wider team
  • Review and oversee accounts preparation, tax compliance, and advisory work
  • Support strategic decision‑making and contribute to the future direction of the firm
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards
  • Work closely with fellow Partners and senior stakeholders across the business

Skills and Experience required of the Partner:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Significant experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
  • Previous experience operating at Senior Manager, Director, or Partner level
  • Strong technical knowledge across accounts, tax, and advisory services
  • Commercially aware with a proven ability to develop business opportunities
  • Excellent leadership and relationship management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A proactive and strategic approach with the ability to influence and drive growth
