ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT | NEWBURY | c£30,000

A varied Accounts Assistant position has become available with a well established and reputable company in Newbury. Working within a small and friendly accounts team , the role will be responsible for all aspects of the accounts administration.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, duties will include:

  • Checking and processing invoices
  • Chasing for invoice approvals
  • Processing payments on a regular basis
  • Undertaking detailed account reconciliations
  • Resolving invoice queries
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Updating and maintain vendor information on the system
  • Producing monthly reports

To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Prior experience in a similarfinance/ accounts role
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to manage your own workload
  • Good team player
  • Intermediate Excel skills
