This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced audit professional to join a growing and collaborative team within a forward-thinking firm that offers genuine progression opportunities, hybrid working, and exposure to a diverse client portfolio.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing audit assignments from planning through to completion, building strong client relationships, and supporting the development of junior team members.
Key responsibilities of the Audit Manager / Senior Manager:- Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of sectors
- Leading audit engagements from planning through to final completion
- Reviewing financial statements and audit files to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and maintaining strong professional relationships
- Managing, mentoring, and developing members of the audit team
- Supporting partners and senior leadership with business development activities
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and deliver added value to clients
- Ensuring assignments are completed within agreed deadlines and budgets
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong external audit experience gained within a professional practice environment
- Previous experience operating at Manager or Senior Manager level
- Excellent technical accounting and audit knowledge
