Sheridan Maine is partnering with a well‑established accountancy practice located close to Bromley to recruit an Experienced Bookkeeper. This is a great opportunity for a detail‑driven finance professional to join a supportive team, working across a varied client portfolio and helping deliver high‑quality bookkeeping and accounting support.
Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records for a portfolio of clients.
- Process supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payment runs in line with agreed terms.
- Support invoicing, accounts receivable tasks, and credit control where needed.
- Perform regular bank and expense reconciliations across multiple accounts.
- Assist with VAT preparation and submission, preparing schedules for month‑end and audit support.
- Contribute to improvements in bookkeeping systems, workflows and processes.
Skills & Experience Required of the Bookkeeper:
