This pivotal role sits at the heart of the finance function, focused on statutory accounts, audit, technical accounting, regulatory reporting, group consolidation, and VAT.

Key Responsibilities- Preparation of statutory accounts for multiple group entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Supporting the year-end audit, acting as the main point of contact for auditors.
- Assisting with group consolidated accounts for management and statutory reporting.
- Providing technical accounting support across the business.
- Delivering regulatory and external financial reporting in line with statutory deadlines.
- Preparing and supporting submission of group VAT returns and dealing with queries.
- Supporting other regulatory, statutory, and industry reporting requirements.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in financial accounting, statutory accounts preparation, and audit support.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Experience of group accounting and consolidations.
- Working knowledge of VAT and indirect tax reporting.
- Strong communication skills, with experience working with senior stakeholders and external auditors.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
