Sheridan Maine is partnering with a Southwest based organisation to recruit for an Interim Project Accountant. This is a contract assignment responsible for leading the implementation of the new system.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of the systems implementation
- Project manage to ensure key deadlines and project objectives are met
- Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external providers to design, configure, test, and implement the system
- Ensure finance processes and controls are embedded within the system, and support data migration, validation, and testing
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to the finance team to ensure smooth adoption and post-implementation optimisation
- Support additional finance projects, as required
- Perform a range of additional activities related to the project
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong technical skills and finance processes expertise
- A proven track record in systems change, finance process improvement and projects
- Project management, planning and project delivery experience
- Strong ERP systems knowledge
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
