Sheridan Maine are pleased to be partnering with a business services organisation based in Basingstoke who are on the hunt for an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly accounts team. The role will encompass a wide variety of tasks including:

  • Raising purchase orders and invoices
  • Processing expenses and credit card reconciliations
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Assisting with the query mailbox
  • Allocating customer payments and receipts
  • Entering purchase invoices on to the system
  • Undertaking credit control duties and payment queries

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Some prior finance experience ideally with accounts payable knowledge
  • Competent IT skills including Excel
  • Excellent organisation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly numerate with good attention to detail
  • Demonstrates a “can do” approach and willingness to get involved wherever
