Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established accountancy firm in London that is looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment, gaining exposure to a broad portfolio of clients and a varied range of audit and accounts work.

The Role

  • Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
  • Supporting and undertaking audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
  • Assisting with personal tax work where required
  • Preparing management accounts and financial information
  • Liaising with clients and responding to queries
  • Supporting more junior members of the team
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

As the Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior, you will ideally have:

  • 2 years' experience in audit and accounts within an accountancy practice
  • Good knowledge of UK accounting standards and statutory accounts
  • Experience preparing accounts for limited companies, partnerships and/or sole traders
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines

AAT, ACA or ACCA qualification/study would be advantageous, although candidates with relevant practice experience will also be considered.
