Your key responsibilities as the Personal Tax Manager:
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, directors, sole traders and partnerships.
- Reviewing and preparing self-assessment tax returns.
- Providing proactive personal tax planning and advisory services.
- Advising clients on areas including capital gains tax, inheritance tax and residency matters.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships as a trusted adviser.
- Managing client deadlines and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements.
- Liaising directly with HMRC on behalf of clients.
- Supporting, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior members of the tax team.

To be considered for the Personal Tax Manager position, you will be/have:
- ATT and/or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience).
- Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice or specialist tax environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
