This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part–qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward–thinking practice environment.
The Role
As Senior Accountant, you will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, delivering a full range of accounting and financial services. You will play a key role in ensuring high–quality outputs while supporting junior team members and working closely with managers and partners.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include:
- Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients including SMEs and limited companies
- Producing management accounts and financial reports
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns and tax computations
- Liaising directly with clients, providing clear and proactive support
- Supporting junior staff with technical queries and development
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and deadlines
To be considered for this Senior Accountant position:
The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified (or part–qualified with strong practice experience). You will have a solid background in an accountancy practice, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
You will also be:
