This is a great opportunity for an experienced practice professional to join a supportive team and take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients.

The Role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality service to a diverse portfolio of clients.
Key responsibilities will include
- Planning and carrying out audit assignments from start to finish.
- Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients.
- Preparing management accounts and other financial information where required.
- Completing corporation tax computations and returns.
- Assisting with personal tax returns and other compliance work.
- Reviewing accounts and audit work prepared by more junior team members.
- Providing support and guidance to junior colleagues.
- Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships.
- Identifying and communicating issues or opportunities to clients and senior colleagues.
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
To be a successful Audit & Accounts Senior, you will ideally have
- Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice (at least 2 years).
- Strong audit and accounts experience.
- Experience preparing accounts for a variety of businesses and sectors.
- ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or actively studying towards a relevant qualification.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- A proactive, professional and client-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team.
