As Corporate Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance deadlines are met.
  • Delivering corporate tax advisory services to medium and large family-owned businesses.
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities and advising clients on commercially effective solutions.
  • Supporting high-net-worth individuals with tax matters where appropriate.
  • Providing guidance on corporate restructures, transactions and business succession planning.
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser.
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing coaching and technical support.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong corporate tax experience gained within an accountancy practice.
  • Experience managing both compliance and advisory assignments.
  • Awareness of tax issues affecting high-net-worth individuals.
  • Excellent technical knowledge across a range of industries, ideally including sectors such as renewables, food production, rural estates and leisure.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to identify both tax risks and planning opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
