Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established accountancy practice in High Wycombe that is looking to appoint an experienced Audit Semi-Senior to join its growing team.

The Role
Working as part of the audit team, you will be involved in a varied portfolio of assignments, working with a range of clients across different sectors.
Your responsibilities as an Audit Semi-Senior will include:
Assisting with and undertaking audit assignments from planning through to completion.
Preparing audit working papers and supporting audit files.
Carrying out substantive and analytical audit procedures.
Preparing accounts and other financial information where required.
Identifying and communicating audit issues to senior team members.
Building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Supporting more junior members of the team and sharing your knowledge and experience.
Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Developing your technical knowledge and keeping up to date with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
About You
We are looking for someone with previous audit experience within an accountancy practice who is keen to continue developing their technical and client-facing skills.
As an Audit Semi-Senior, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in an audit role within an accountancy practice.
Good knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards.
Experience working on a range of audit assignments.
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines.
A proactive approach and willingness to take on responsibility.
