Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a growing business in the Reading area. Working for a SME business and reporting to the Group Finance Director, the role will encompass all aspects of management accounting and will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Prepare and distribute monthly management accounts
- Provide variance analysis and commentary
- Liaise with budget holders and prepare the annual budgets
- Run monthly budget review meetings
- Business partner with stakeholders providing key analysis and management information
- Ensure the timely month end close of financial activities such as journals, accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations
- Review and develop processes and systems
- Provide financial support with ongoing projects
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in an all round management accountant or similar role
- Strong analytical and IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience of working with a range of stakeholders
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
