As a Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior, you'll manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance while building trusted relationships and providing an excellent level of service.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Managing personal tax compliance, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Liaising directly with clients to resolve tax queries and provide practical advice.
  • Supporting senior colleagues with tax planning projects where appropriate.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Assisting with HMRC correspondence and enquiries.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in UK personal tax legislation.

The successful candidate will ideally have

  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice in a personal tax role.
  • ATT qualified, studying towards ATT/CTA, CTA qualified, or qualified by experience.
  • Strong knowledge of UK personal tax compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
