Sheridan Maine is delighted to be supporting a respected and expanding accountancy practice close to Romford in the search for an Audit and Accounts Manager. Main tasks handled by an Audit and Accounts Manager:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.
- Lead and review audit assignments and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
- Oversee the preparation and review of accounts, including limited companies, consolidated groups, and charities.
- Support the Partner with elements of an existing client book.
- Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
- Assist with practice management tasks such as workflow improvements, WIP monitoring, and process development.
Qualifications to succeed as an Audit and Accounts Manager:
- ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Strong technical expertise within audit and financial reporting.
- Proven experience managing a client portfolio.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Confident working independently and capable of taking initiative in a managerial role.
