We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Corporate Tax Executive to join a growing and ambitious tax team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including owner-managed and entrepreneurial businesses, and to build both your technical expertise and advisory experience within a supportive and progressive environment.
You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality corporate tax compliance service, while also supporting more senior colleagues on advisory projects. As part of a collaborative team, you will have the chance to develop your tax knowledge, work closely with experienced professionals, and contribute to the development of junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations for a varied portfolio of clients.
- Assisting with the management of tax compliance processes, ensuring deadlines for tax returns and payments are met.
- Building strong relationships with clients and dealing with HMRC correspondence.
- Supporting Managers and Partners on tax advisory projects and planning assignments.
- Coaching and developing junior team members, helping them build their technical confidence.
- Shaping your role based on your skills, interests, and career aspirations.
Qualifications
- Are ATT or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent); CTA qualification or studying towards CTA is advantageous.
- Have gained tax compliance experience within a mixed tax, personal tax, or corporate tax environment.
- Possess strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
- Have excellent organisational abilities and can manage deadlines effectively.
- Are eager to develop their tax knowledge and progress within a growing firm.
