We are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established property services organisation in Bristol to recruit an experienced Accounting Manager (Service Charge) to join their growing finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to take ownership of a specialist service charge portfolio, lead a team, and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities:- Full responsibility for service charge accounting across a defined property portfolio
- Review and management of service charge expenditure, applying strong technical judgement and professional scepticism
- Financial oversight of key projects and portfolio performance
- Day-to-day management and development of a finance team
- Management of multiple deadlines and prioritisation of workload
- Supporting senior managers and directors with projects and ad-hoc financial analysis
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills
- Experience within service charge accounting or property accounting (highly desirable)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
