Sheridan Maine are proud to be working with a Bristol based SME organisation to recruit a newly qualified accountant looking for a step up to become a Finance Manager. This role is varied in content, works closely with the Finance Director and will oversee all of the day-to-day accounting activities. This is a newly created role and offers a great career opportunity for a qualified Finance Manager.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Responsible for managing and developing a small team.
- Responsible for overseeing all day-to-day financial accounting transactions.
- Month end and year end reporting.
- Providing key support with system improvements and integrations.
- Supporting the business with external and internal audit requirements.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- IT/ Tech savvy with experience of ERP systems.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge including up to date accounting standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
This role offers a competitive salary, bonus and hybrid working. You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
