Sheridan Maine are exclusively recruiting for an Accounts Assistant position for one of our long-standing clients in the Bristol area. The role will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including:

  • Processing sales and purchase invoices
  • Allocating cash
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Dealing with supplier and customer invoice queries
  • Preparing supplier payments
  • Credit control
  • Petty cash
  • Processing staff expense claims

The company are seeking an individual with the desired criteria:

  • Prior experience of working in an accounting role
  • Confident user of IT systems including Excel
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
  • Ability to work to deadlines with attention to detail
  • Able to work on your own and as part of a team
