Overview

Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a leading international business to recruit a Technical Accounting & Governance Manager to join their high-performing finance function. Based near Bristol and operating on a flexible hybrid model, this is a key role that offers variety, responsibility, and exposure to senior stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination of both external and internal audits.
  • Preparation and review of technical accounting papers.
  • Support the preparation of key financial and governance documentation during reporting cycles.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures relating to commercial contracts.
  • Work closely with internal finance teams to provide technical accounting guidance and general financial support.

Qualifications

  • An ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent, with a strong grounding in technical accounting and audit.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
  • The ability to stay up to date with relevant financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
