Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a long-standing client based in North Hampshire who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their head office finance team. The role will be responsible for working with internal stakeholders to provide meaningful financial reporting and identifying financial risks.

Key duties of the role will include:

  • Perform month end balance sheet reconciliations and relevant journals
  • Produce monthly management accounts
  • Provide variance analysis and commentary to present to stakeholders
  • Lead the yearly budgeting and forecasting process
  • Liaising with internal departments to identify areas of improvement and cost savings
  • Be the main point of contact for audit and statutory reporting requirements
  • Provide cover and assistance to the wider accounting team

This fantastic opportunity will suit an individual with the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of producing management accounts
  • Qualified or finalist ACCA / CIMA or ACA
  • The ability to interpret and analyse data
  • A positive approach and good team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Experience working in a hands on SME environment
