An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join a growing, forward-thinking chartered accountancy firm.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in corporate tax compliance and advisory work, combined with excellent communication and leadership skills. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic tax team, providing support, guidance, and development to colleagues while maintaining a high standard of client service.

Key responsibilities of the Corporate Tax Manager:

  • Reviewing corporate tax returns and computations prepared by junior team members.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across different departments to ensure all corporate tax compliance deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, delivering high-quality service.
  • Providing mentoring, coaching, and constructive feedback to support the professional development of team members.
  • Assisting the wider tax team with advisory projects as required.

The scope of this role can be tailored to align with the successful candidate’s experience, expertise, and career aspirations.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Hold relevant professional tax or accounting qualifications (e.g., ACA, CTA or equivalent).
  • Have experience reviewing corporate tax compliance work within a professional services or in-house environment.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both clients and colleagues.
  • Are confident in providing feedback and mentoring to more junior team members.
  • Are motivated to contribute to the success, growth, and culture of the firm.
