Sheridan Maine are excited to be working in partnership with a well established organisation based in Watford who are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their UK finance team.
Key duties within the accounts payable position will include but are not limited to:
- Processing invoices on to the accounting system.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Preparing supplier payments.
- Performing bank reconciliations.
- Assisting with a range of reporting.
- Providing holiday cover and assisting in other areas of finance when required.
To be considered for the role, the successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Prior experience in a busy accounts payable/ purchase ledger role.
- Competent IT Skills.
- Ability to work proactively and use own initiative.
- Confident and friendly communication style.
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team.
- Highly organised and able to meet deadlines.
