Sheridan Lifts are looking for an experienced individual with the skill set to support and develop the day-to-day process within our Projects department. The individual must be efficient, organised, and motivated to form part of an established team. Working for the largest independent lift business in the UK, providing a whole host of vertical transport solutions to construction and end users.
The Modernisation Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of lift modernisation projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role combines technical oversight, project management, and client engagement, supporting projects from initial sales handover through to completion and aftercare.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full lifecycle of modernisation projects from Sales handover to final completion and aftercare.
- Plan and execute projects in line with WIP targets and company objectives.
- Ensure all projects meet technical, commercial, and programme requirements.
- Track project progress, milestones, and risks, providing regular updates to management.
- Manage closure processes, ensuring timely invoicing and achievement of financial targets.
- Ensure all works achieve technical completion and comply with national and company standards.
- Technically validate modernisation solutions to ensure feasibility, compliance, and profitability.
- Ensure effective scheduling and utilisation of engineers and installation teams.
- Work closely with Project Coordinators and Service teams to maintain efficient operations.
- Oversee ordering of materials, spare parts, and raising of purchase orders.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and manufacturing partners.
- Lead Sales-to-Projects handover meetings.
- Attend client meetings (on-site and virtual) and provide regular project updates.
- Manage expectations and handle escalations in a professional and timely manner.
- Track project financials, including budgets, spend, and profitability.
- Monitor and manage stage payments to ensure timely receipt.
- Control and manage variation orders.
- Issuing required documentation in a timely manner.
