We’re a fast‑growing, multi‑division business operating across skip hire, concrete supply, and scaffolding services. We’re looking for an experienced, CPC‑qualified Transport Manager to take ownership of our fleet, drivers, routing, and transport compliance across all divisions.

Senior, hands‑on role for someone who understands the realities of managing HGV drivers, construction logistics, and time‑critical, multi‑drop operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day transport operations across skips, concrete mixers, and scaffolding vehicles
  • Plan, route and schedule delivery trucks to maximise efficiency and on‑time performance
  • Lead, manage and motivate drivers
  • Ensure full O‑Licence, DVSA and tachograph compliance
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections and defect reporting
  • Optimise fleet utilisation and reduce downtime
  • Liaise closely with operations and site teams to meet delivery demands
  • Support fleet growth as the business continues to scale
What We’re Looking For
  • CPC‑qualified Transport Manager
  • Proven experience managing HGV fleets and driver routing
  • Strong knowledge of DVSA, O‑Licence and tachograph rules
  • Background in waste, scaffolding, concrete, construction or logistics
  • Confident, firm but fair leadership style
  • Organised, commercially aware and operationally strong
