The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

To provide a quality service to clients through ensuring a caring and supportive environment within the residential service or clients’ own homes or in any setting that their needs and choices require. Healthcare assistants may provide support to individuals with a variety of needs.

An opportunity has arisen within our Home Care department at Sherbutt House for a waking night support worker to provide care and support to adults with learning disabilities. It would consist of 12 hour shifts from 8pm to 8am. Additional hours may be available to cover holidays.

We will ask that you have a minimum of 2 years experience working in the care industry. So if you are:

  • Wanting to complete your Care Certificate / equivalent qualification
  • Willing to work towards a QCF in care

They may also support people with their mobility, help them to eat and drink, and support people with challenging behaviour. Some of the people we support need personal care, at varying levels. This can range from offering encouragement and support, to enabling people to do it themselves, to physically supporting them directly.
