My client is looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and passionate .NET & SQL Developer who would act as the second in command for the manager of this division. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building high-quality software, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about delivering value to end users.
You will work across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), contributing to the design, development, testing, and delivery of fast, scalable, and robust software solutions. You’ll have a strong appreciation for quality assurance, continuous integration, and continuous delivery, and a proven track record of producing high-quality, maintainable code.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions
- Work collaboratively within an agile development team
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Develop a strong understanding of the business to adapt to changing requirements
- Share knowledge and best practices within the team
- Support continuous improvement in processes, tools, and technologies
- MS SQL Server
- Azure DevOps (CI/CD and build pipelines)
- ADO.NET
- Dapper ORM preferred but will consider alternative frameworks
- REST/HTTP APIs and related technologies
- Version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Experience testing and debugging applications using Visual Studio and Azure DevOps
- Solid understanding of back-end development
- Experience working in agile development teams
- NoSQL databases
- Swagger / OpenAPI
- Node.js
- AWS technologies, including serverless, microservices (Lambda), and containerisation
