I'm looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join a growing, collaborative team for my awesome multi billion international client. You’ll play a pivotal role in deploying, automating, scaling, and monitoring a feature-rich platform, applying modern DevOps practices to ensure smooth, high-performance operations. This is a hands-on role where creativity, initiative, and problem-solving are highly valued.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build, maintain, and optimize deployment automation for complex applications
- Provision, scale, and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Configure and fine-tune applications for performance, security, and availability
- Migrate systems to high-availability (HA) configurations
- Manage database deployments and ensure reliability
- Conduct load testing and plan capacity for growth
- Monitor system performance, investigate incidents, and implement fixes
- Collaborate with development teams to solve technical challenges efficiently
Core Skills
- Strong experience deploying and maintaining C# / .NET applications in production environments
- Hands-on experience with NuGet package management within CI/CD workflows
- Proven ability to automate deployments, configuration, and infrastructure
- Deep expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, Aurora), networking, and cost optimisation
- Skilled in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CDK, or similar tools
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools
- Practical experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of networking and internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Knowledge of security best practices for deploying and maintaining web applications
- Experience using monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Experience administering PostgreSQL and MSSQL, including replication and high availability
- Exposure to Azure cloud services
- Experience with API gateways such as KongHQ or AWS API Gateway
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps
- Experience with CDNs (e.g., CloudFront) and SSL certificate management
- Knowledge of load testing, performance tuning, and configuration hardening
- Experience supporting mobile app CI pipelines and remote Mac build servers
