I am currently recruiting for a talented and passionate design manager for a fantastic client in the construction sector in the Derbyshire area. This role represents a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to my client's continued growth by bringing the right skills and mindset to help maintain the high standards of service their clients expect. I'm seeking someone with a proven background in the construction industry, ideally with experience in specialist design management. You’ll be responsible for leading design activities, overseeing the design process, producing and managing design programmes, and working closely with internal designers and external design teams.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate projects alongside our senior design manager and support site teams with design-related matters.
- Lead the design process with clients and project teams.
- Develop and monitor design programmes to ensure key deadlines are met.
- Experience with CAD design.
- Background in design management within the construction sector.
- Competence in both 2D and 3D modelling is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Full UK driving license and flexibility to visit project sites when necessary.
