Maintenance & Reliability Manager to join the site leadership team.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will take ownership of maintenance strategy, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement activities across a modern manufacturing operation.

The Role

As Maintenance & Reliability Manager, you will lead maintenance and reliability activities across the site, ensuring equipment performance, availability, and asset reliability support operational objectives.

You will be responsible for driving maintenance best practice, improving equipment uptime, and developing a culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include

  • Leading, coaching, and developing the maintenance and reliability team.
  • Driving TPM and Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) initiatives.
  • Improving equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability.
  • Standardising maintenance procedures, work instructions, and best practices.
  • Leading maintenance and engineering improvement projects.
  • Supporting root-cause investigations and eliminating recurring equipment failures.
  • Working closely with Production and Engineering teams to maximise equipment performance.
  • Monitoring maintenance KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Supporting long-term asset management and maintenance planning.
  • Promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in an Engineering discipline.
  • Proven maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of TPM, RCM, preventative and predictive maintenance principles.
  • Experience supporting automated production equipment and manufacturing systems.
  • Understanding of machining, CNC, or precision engineering operations.
  • Demonstrated success improving equipment reliability and operational performance.
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis capability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience gained within any of the following environments would be advantageous:
  • Precision Engineering
  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Automotive
  • Aerospace
  • High-Volume Manufacturing
