I am seeking a skilled and proactive Mechatrician/Maintenance Engineer for my client who are an incredibly successful global organisation. This is a key role focused on ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production machinery through both reactive and planned maintenance. You will play an essential part in minimising downtime, improving equipment performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance activities
- Follow all relevant work instructions and maintenance procedures
- Work closely with Supervisors and Managers to resolve machine issues and improve performance
- Support continuous improvement and Total Productive Maintenance initiatives
- Monitor and help control spare parts usage and maintenance costs
- Accurately complete maintenance documentation and raise follow-up work as needed
- Report any discrepancies in technical drawings or specifications
- Participate in overtime and shutdown work for planned maintenance and overhauls
General Responsibilities
