Sherborne School is looking for a Choral Director to lead and develop its established choral programme, building on a tradition where music plays a central role in school life. The role involves directing a range of choirs and shaping music for regular services in Sherborne Abbey, alongside concerts and other performances during the year.
With around 100 boys involved in the School Choir, as well as a Chamber Choir, it is a busy and rewarding role with plenty of scope to make it your own. This is a part‑time post with a focus on evenings and Sundays, and would suit someone combining it with other musical work, such as a church role or teaching during the day.

With good support, including regular accompanists, and excellent facilities, it is a great opportunity to be closely involved in a musical life that is both ambitious and very much part of the school's identity.
