Principal Role
The Sherborne Schools Group (SSG) is seeking a committed Examinations Access Arrangements Lead to provide support for pupils in the senior schools (Year 7 to 13). The primary focus of the role is at an operational level across both Sherborne Girls and Sherborne Boys, though we would consider splitting the role (2x 0.5) with each part-time role focused on the EAAs in just one school.
The EAA Lead works closely with colleagues to ensure that all appropriate exam access arrangements for public and internal examinations are in place. In addition, the role involves ensuring that the Sherborne Group Schools’ record-keeping and practice is fully compliant with examination board and JCQ regulations.
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct exam access arrangement assessments and must, therefore, have the qualifications to support this. This role provides an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to play an important part in supporting individual pupils at both senior schools during a time when SSG is developing its future vision. There is considerable scope for this role to develop over time and would suit an ambitious individual.
There is scope for part of the role to be undertaken remotely, although the EAA Lead will be expected to be in school at least one day per week.
Closing date: Tuesday 2 June 2026 and interviews likely to take place on Thursday 11 June 2026.
