Sherborne Schools Group is seeking a Gardener to play a key role in maintaining and developing the school’s gardens and outdoor spaces, ensuring they are presented to a consistently high standard throughout the year. Based primarily at Sherborne Girls School, this is a varied, hands‑on position where no two days are quite the same.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of garden maintenance, seasonal planting, and the upkeep of lawns, borders and wider landscape areas, helping to create an environment that reflects the quality and character of the school.
In addition to supporting the day-to-day appearance of Sherborne Girls, the role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the wider Sherborne Schools Group, with occasional work across other sites as required. Working as part of a supportive and experienced grounds team, you will play an important part in ensuring the school grounds are welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors, as well as supporting the preparation of outdoor areas for school events and activities.
